1993
100% Manual

Mapbooks, pencil, paper, and a calculator — a magnetic and paper mapboard, some SCADA control on a few substation devices, and GIS maps on screen.

Late 1990s
In-House OMS

An immature, in-house-built OMS that helped group outages — and the beginning of integration with SCADA.

2000s–2015
The ADMS Era

ADMS arrives — integrations with SCADA and OMS, plus some minor DMS functionality — implemented from the operator's chair.

2016–2025
ADMS & DERMS Growth

The growth of ADMS and DERMS — 14+ utility deployments across two continents, from the vendor, integrator, and consulting-partner chairs.

Fed operator-driven product enhancements directly into the engineering roadmap — including the first-of-its-kind ADMS+DERMS hybrid architecture at APS and the wildfire mitigation capability built into ADMS for PG&E.
